Red Velvet's Yeri gets hate from netizens again

Netizens sprang up in arms to attack Red Velvet's Yeri once again, this time for a harmless remark she uttered on a recent airing of 'A Hyung I Know.'

The cast of 'A Hyung I Know' and Red Velvet were playing a version of Jeopardy when someone asked Yeri to sing a verse from Buzz's most popular track "Coward," an old favorite that is apparently known to a majority of the Korean people. When Yeri failed to remember how the song goes, the cast members, especially Buzz's vocalistMin Kyung Hoon, were vastly disappointed. Though they attacked her mercilessly for not knowing the song, it was all in good fun. However, the netizens were less forgiving. One netizen uploaded captures of Yeri from 'A Hyung I Know,' writing with understanding, "'A Hyung I Know' shared a video of Yeri saying she didn't know Buzz's 'Coward.' Someone from 'A Hyung I Know' claims that [what Yeri said] was simply based on the script. Even if [the program] wasn't based on a script, Yeri was seven years old when Buzz's 'Coward' came out. But...lololol...the comments...lololol." The netizen the shared the captures of some comments from netizens, who are mostly of the opinion that Yeri acted out of line in making a joke out of Buzz's song.

They wrote, "I want to beat her up. How does she not know;; looks like she's a singer," "better than your songs," "Yeri is at fault. How does she now know Buzz," "Am I the only one who thinks Yeri is as rude as hell?" and, "rude ass bitches, they dare make fun of sunbaes?"

You can watch the clip for yourself above.  Do you think netizens were too harsh?
