Tao and SM once again take their arguments to court in fourth hearing
There is no progress in the ongoing legal scuffle between former EXO member Tao and SM as the latest hearing resulted only in further complications and no new developments.
On March 4, the Seoul Central District Court held the fourth hearing for the lawsuit Tao filed against SM to nullify his exclusive contract.
Only the lawyers representing each side were present the hearing, and the two sides reorganized and presented the arguments once again to the court.
Tao's legal representative, who is also in charge of Luhan and Kris's lawsuits against SM, continued to assert that the three's exclusive contracts with SM were unfairly drafted.
Meanwhile, SM's legal team retorted, "After lawsuits denying the validity of the exclusive contract were filed consecutively against us, we altered the contract after some fine-tuning with the Korea Fair Trade Commission. Thus, there is quite a variation between the previously devised contract and the altered contract."
Tao's side relayed, "If there are any insufficient documents that may serve as evidence, we will reorganize them and request them from SM. There will be no additional requests for witnesses."
The court decided to hold another hearing this coming April 8.
